What do I do if JotPsych says it can't record?
If you see a message that says:
"Your network may be blocking audio uploads."
…it means JotPsych couldn't send your recording to our servers, so the note can't be generated yet.
Why this happens
Some networks — especially those with strict firewalls, corporate VPNs, or certain security settings — can block the path JotPsych uses to upload audio.
Here are some quick fixes
Turn off your VPN (if you’re using one)
Switch to a different network, like your mobile hotspot or a different Wi-Fi
Record on a different device, like your phone or tablet, that’s not on the same network
Ask your IT or network admin to allow traffic to ‘s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com’ — that’s the secure address JotPsych uses to upload recordings.
