How to Create a Patient
Why should I create patients in JotPsych
Automatically carry forward patient context: JotPsych uses prior session details (e.g., HPI, past interventions, diagnoses) to inform relevant sections of future notes, saving time and improving continuity.
Track clinical progress: Record and view trends over time — including scores from screeners like PHQ-9 or GAD-7 — to monitor patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness.
Organize your caseload: Keep all session notes and clinical data easily accessible and associated with the correct patient.

How to associate a Patient with a Note
This can be done either before you begin recording your session or after your note has been generated.
To do this before you begin recording, navigate to the Record tab at the top of the JotPsych screen, then enter the correct patient in the Select Patient window.
To do this after you already have a note created, navigate to that note and click on Assign Note to Patient to associate a patient already existing in your patient library with the note
How do I mass-upload patients into the library?
If you want to import your entire patient list into JotPsych, email support@jotpsych.com.
